"This hotel absolutely blew our minds. The 30 minute drive off road was very beautiful and at first made us a little nervous but quickly realized with 4 wheel drive its very easy and fun! Once we got there... We were blown away. The staff. The rooms. The food. THE PRICE. 10/10. The natural pool area to me might be one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my entire life and literally put tears in our eyes. The amount of hiking, exploring, and outdoor activities could fill an entire week....

"A great friendly welcome we stayed here as we had visited Irazú volcano and Turrialba volcano as well as Guayabo national monument. Making a trip from one to the next…. Do not try to drive to Turrialba if you don’t have 4x4, local people told me the road, which I drove almost to the end, was FATAL… anyway that’s just a tip if that’s your plan. The hotel, lodge was fantastic. Our room spacious, comfortable and all we needed for an overnight stay, and womdeviews of the mountains around and a view...

"Nous avons réservé une chambre avec 2 lits double avec balcon vue sur les montagnes. Notre chambre avait 1 lit double et 2 lits superposés, aucune fenêtre ni balcon, et le dessus de notre porte n'était pas fermé donc on entend tous les bruits de l'hotel et de la ruelle.. C'est plus comme une auberge de jeunesse. L'air commune est très bien, belle vue, hamacs, 2 balcons. En pleine ville."

"Had a stop over here to get out of San Jose on our way to Limon beaches after an eight hour flight. Pros: Nice stay, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean, beautiful grounds. Reasonable! Cons: not the room shown in pictures, in need of updates, musty. Food was just ok. Just happy they had the restaurant! Would I stop again? Yes!

"This hotel is directly on busy street with a lot of trucks and buses coming day and night. So noice is disturbing.
Additional problem: the restaurant. They just don’t know how to cook. We made an error by having a dinner there: the meet was oversalted and the fish was like rubber. "

"This was a great place with a wonderful view of the volcano, safe parking, and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast included was also quite tasty. "

"This is a unique experience and one we highly recommend. Slightly on the rustic side, but considering it’s magnificent location above the Pacuare River, it’s hard to complain. Staff was super accommodating and made us feel right at home. Really enjoyed the food as well! And, let’s not forget the rafting. This is an absolutely beautiful section and the guides were terrific. Don’t pass this one by!"

"What an incredible place! I arrived a bit under the weather and they took such amazing care of me. What a breathtaking place! Top notch food, spa, room and overall service. We were able to see a sloth cross the river and climb back up to the tree. Simply amazing. Thank you!"

"The room was clean and lots of space. We arrived late to a prepared meal and then had to leave early, but a lovely breakfast was delivered before hand. Very friendly."
"Se pasa muy bien ahí. Mucha paz, silencio, tranquilidad y un ambiente de naturaleza.
El restaurante es caro, pero muy bueno. Podrían hacer descuento a los que se hospedan ahí.
El staff muy amable y serviciales.
100% recomendado."
"Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. Great view of Turrialba and the valley below. Lots of suggestions for activities. Grow and offer their own coffee, cheese, marmalade. Great breakfast. We’ll be back. "
