The restaurant serves very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location is quite isolated so rent a car if you plan to see the island. "

If you don’t drive, buses are not reliable at all, making it difficult to get around (problem with Amami in general). "AMA Terrace is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the common area and shared facilities are useful and pleasant, and the staff are helpful and generous. Being able to do a load of laundry was a big plus too!"

"The Hotel is in a great location near the bay. Snorkling/diving available and some good restaurants nearby. They offer some snorkling and vest gear, as well as bikes for free. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options. They didn't have the hot tube open which is my only complaint since it was colder weather, and it would have been nice to use. "
