"Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve. Quite graciously, the on-site manager, Igor, was able to rectify the situation and compensated us with an evening apéritif. Thank you Igor. As for...
